Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation announces the events of its 10th annual Arab Poetry Spring Festival

         Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation announced the events of its 10th annual Arab Poetry Spring Festival, which will be held at Albabtain Central Library for Arab Poetry, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait. The festival will take place from the 26th to the 28th of March.

         The Secretary-General of the Foundation, Abdulrahman Khaled Albabtain, stated in a press release that the festival will kick off on Sunday, the 26th of March, at 6:30 PM with a tour of the book fair and the accompanying publications. This will be followed by the first poetry evening at 7:30 PM, featuring poets such as Musaab Al-Ruwished, Wadha Al-Husaawi, Jaber Al-Nimma, Mohammed Turki Hajazi, Muayyad Al-Shayeb, and Aya Osama Wahbi, under the direction of Dr. Salem Abbas Khaddadah.

         On the second day, the literary seminar about poet Ya'qub Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed will commence at 6:30 PM, with speeches by Suad Ya'qub Al-Rasheed and Dr. Turki Al-Mughaidh. The session will be moderated by Dr. Abdullah Al-Muhanna.

         Following this, the second poetry evening will feature poets such as Moodhi Rahhal from Kuwait, Fawzi Issa and Rana Al-Azam from Egypt, Muhammad Amin Al-Omar and Safwan Qdeesat from Jordan, Hassan Salman Kamal from Bahrain, and Muhammad Jameel ahmed from Sudan, with the session being directed by poet Raja Al-Qahtani.

         The third and final day will see the literary seminar about poet Moustafa Wahbi Al-Tel (Arrar) at 6:30 PM, with speakers including Dr. Tariq Maryoud Al-Tel from Jordan and Dr. Abdullah Ghlees from Kuwait, and the session will be moderated by Dr. Suad Abdulwahab.

         The third poetry evening will then begin at 8:30 PM, featuring poets like Salem Al-Ramidhi and Ali Mubarak Al-Azmi from Kuwait, Maysoun Abu Baker and Jafar Hajawi from Jordan, Khaled Al-Wughlani from Tunisia, Dr. Maha Al-Otaibi from Saudi Arabia, and Abdulmajid Falah from Syria.

         The Secretary-General, Abdulrahman Khaled Albabtain, pointed out that the Chairman of the Foundation, Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, will deliver a speech at the inauguration following the completion of the tenth festival.
