The World Poetry Academy in Verona has renewed the honorary presidency of the poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain.

         The World Poetry Academy, based in Verona, Italy, has unanimously renewed the honorary presidency for poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain for the third time. He was first elected to this position in 2011. Additionally, the executive presidency has also been unanimously renewed for Italian poet Patrizia Martello.

         In celebration of the 16th World Poetry Day, the Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain Cultural Foundation participated in organizing the event in Verona, Italy. The Foundation nominated six Arab poets to take part in the celebration, including Musaab Al-Zuaibi from Kuwait, Muhammad Ibrahim Ya'qoub from Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Al-Saqqali and Sabah Al-Dibbi from Morocco, Abdullatif Al-Saadi from Iraq, and Anis Chouchan from Tunisia, alongside a number of Italian poets.

         The General Director of the Academy, Dr. Laura Troisi, stated that the honorary presidency, led by poet Abdulaziz Saud Albabtain, aimed to make this year's celebration truly global by involving poets from diverse cultures. The World Poetry Day event in Verona showcases the universal appeal of poetry and fosters cross-cultural exchange between poets from different parts of the world.
