Dr. Rasheed Al-Hamad
Born in Al-Qibla area, Kuwait, in 1946.
Studied at Al-Shuwaikh Secondary School, and after graduating, he joined Alexandria University and specialized in Geology at the Faculty of Sciences.
He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Geology.
He pursued his higher education in the United Kingdom, where he earned his Master's and then his Ph.D. in 1986.
Practical Experiences:
Served as the Minister of Education and Higher Education in Kuwait from 2004 to 2005.
Former Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt (2007-2013).
Director of the Arab Center for Educational Research in the Gulf States.
Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Development Affairs at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education (1986-1992).
Director of Al-Jahra Educational District.
Authored numerous educational books and materials in the fields of science and geology for secondary and elementary levels.
